Project Vote Smart
Project Vote Smart is a nonpartisan organization that seeks to provide information on elected officials and candidates.  It explains how a bill becomes a law, from the time it is introduced until the President signs it. There are sections on congress, and congressional leadership, the Constitution, the Bill of Rights and the amendments.  Many of the sections contain helpful glossaries and lists of links.  


Kids.gov
This is the official kids' portal for the U.S. government. It links to over 2,000 web pages from government agencies, schools, and educational organizations, all geared to the learning level and interest of kids.

This site includes information about The President, the First Lady, and the Vice President.  It also includes information about White House traditions, and the White House pets!
